Description: The qualified candidates should possess chemistry knowledge and technical skills in HPLC, GC, MS, FTIR, UV, Dissolution/Disintegration, KF and other detection technologies. The candidate is required to deliver project support tasks in a timely manner and provide hands-on analytical method development and validation in labs. It is highly expected that the candidate can collaborate with other department, communicate with project teams and, write reports, protocols and other documents. Good interpersonal skill and GLP/cGMP pharmaceutical experience are also valuable for this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct lab work for analytical method development and validation for release tests (assay, purity, residual solvents, moisture, dissolution etc)
- Deliver analytical support in chemical process for API and prototype formulations and finished products under supervisor
- Characterization of reference standard and impurity standard materials
- Able to follow cGMP guidelines, company standard operating procedures, and analytical methods
- Able to communicate with project teams and other departments. Also able to write reports, protocols, analytical methods and technical documents
Job Requirements:
Education: B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry or related field.
Experience: 3 to 8 years pharmaceutical analysis.
Specific Skills: Skills in operating HPLC, FTIR, UV, and GC; Knowledge in Empower.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position will require working in a laboratory environment the majority of the time and working at a desk, computer/keyboard for the remainder.
